Le Tombement
School project
Editorial
175×247 mm
For this project, I was tasked with laying out a collection of poems written by Daniil Kharms, an absurdist Russian writer. The goal was to bind the book by hand, so I chose to use Russian binding, which allowed me to fold the pages in a way that concealed certain spreads. Drawing inspiration from the absurdity and madness in Kharms' poems, the letters appear to fall, echoing the title The Falling. A sense of darkness subtly permeates the work, hidden within the folded pages, reflecting the themes of the poems and the passage of time.
